What was the highlight of Don Giovanni Hotel
A very attractive property but deadly quiet at the end of October.
It was extremely difficult to find the right entrance as there were no signs from the car park. We wandered around the courtyard and outside as there was no-one about. Eventually a lady appeared and showed us to our room but it seemed completely deserted otherwise. Clear signs are needed from the car park to reception which is on the opposite side of the building. Later in the afternoon, more people appeared and there was to be a christening the next day so we were told there was no restaurant or food available that evening. So we had to drive back into Sambucca to get a meal. This was not notified to us before we arrived.
No restaurant food available. Breakfast next day on sunny terrace and excellent spread available. The swimming pool looked reasonably clean but the kiddies pool next to it contained green, dirty water. However it was the end of October so I expect they were not being used any longer.

A serene comfortabe place to recharge your batteries
Loved the location out in the countryside. The staff was first rate. The hotel did something special forv our 47th anniversary and the staff seemed to enjoy putting the event together.
The hotel advertises it has spa facilities which we would have liked to use but it was closed.

What was the highlight of Don Giovanni Hotel
A serene hotel in a beautiful location
We wished we'd stayed longer in Don Giovanni's! The hotel was beautiful and it such a peaceful and serene location. The service was friendly, the rooms were very clean, and the pool was such a great addition. We regret not being able to eat in the restaurant as we were too full from lunch but we heard from other guests that the food was good.
Overall very few suggestions for improvement but just one thing - the lock on our room was extremely sticky so it took us a good while to get in and out of our room. As we were only staying one night we just dealt with it but if we were staying longer we would have said something.

Very comfortable, traditional hotel with beautiful views.
Lovely courtyard to enjoy an evening drink, large, well maintained swimming pool, breakfast on the terrace overlooking rolling countryside, very friendly staff and a comfortable room.
